I joined 3 days ago, when my Alexa ranking was at 11,775,772. I failed to find this particular forum, and introduced myself in the wrong location. Already my ranking has improved to 7.8 million!
Here is what I wrote in the Bloggers Lair forum:
Heard about the Yakezie Network and the Challenge via Crystal at Budgeting in the Fun Stuff (actually saw her first on her guest post at GetRichSlowly.org). I posted on my blog my plan to take the challenge…have added the badge and written a post at my blog (http://www.thadthoughts.com).
Before the New Year started I had decided to be more focused on writing…to post 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. I really just intended to write consistently, with a focus, to improve myself. When I read Crystal's words about the Yakezie Network, and saw the focus on Selflessly Promote others, it just clicked: This is something I would like to participate in.
So, please, help me figure it out. I have much more of a Lifestyle focus that personal finance, with no a bit of technology interest thrown in for good.

Welcome! I joined a few days ago. This is a very helpful site. I have very similar goals. I would encourage you to set up a signature file on Yakezie that will make it super easy for people to click over to your blog or Twitter.

I want to start the Alexa Ranking Challenge. But the comment I tried to post on the Challenge start page on FinancialSamurai does not appear (maybe it is in moderation).
Thus I put below the same comment that I tried to post there. Does this count as a start of my challenge?

Hi there,
The Stock Trend Investing Alexa ranking is 1,211,251 at this moment. The site is live for over 2 years. Now it is time to really boost it and I am happy to take on the Alexa Ranking Challenge. I have posted the Yakezie badge already on my blog page and created a new Blogroll and Links page for all the friends I hope to make here.
Anyone who writes in an informative way about long-term investing strategies and ways to grow your savings, is very welcome to contact me and send me your guest posts.
199,999, here I come.

The day I joined, the Alexa ranking dropped to 1,305,471. Either number can be my starting point.
The Yakezie badge is on my blog.
And I have published a blog post to tell my readers that I have started the Yakezie Challenge.
In this blog post I give them a heads-up on what Yakezie is and that they can expect me to link and tell about a number of very interesting blogs and sites in this network. To give them a flavor on what type of content they can find on other Yakezie blogs, I have linked to quite a number of recent and relevant articles from sites that I found here on the forum.
In future posts I will not link to as many sites in one post. My plan is to link in every post to one relevant article of another Yakezie Challenger or Member.
I'm not sure now if someone has to confirm that my challenge has started. I just assume it has and will go full speed ahead.

I am super excited to join the Yakezie Challenge! I started my blog in 2006 and have been writing at least two to three posts every week since then. My blog is about frugality, minimalism and my experiences with money. I talk a lot about my personal journey with everyday financial decisions. My first son was born in October of last year and I'm currently trying to find ways to make a little extra money so I can stay home with him for at least a year or two. I blog anonymously, but if you knew me and came across my blog I certainly wouldn't be difficult to identify.
Although I've been blogging for six years this is the first time I've attempted to join a community of bloggers. I am very excited about it!

Oh….so this is where I introduce myself. I joined the challenge December 4, 2011. I was a little lost, but thanks to that new post for the Delta class I'm understanding a little more. My Alexa ranking on the day I joined was 2,532,778. Today it's 580,240. My goal is to get under that 200,000 mark by June 4, or as soon as I possibly can! I started blogging because I was looking for a way to make extra money. My goals have changed and at the moment I'm not looking to my blog for monetary income. But I decided to write about frugality, hopefully being able to help other people. What I've learned since I started is that it's actually me learning so much from my friends in real life and others in the blogging world. While my income from the blog hasn't been substantial, the way I've learned to use my money since starting has made all the difference in the world.

Hello Everyone–
My name is Jefferson and my blog is http://www.seedebtrun.com.
My wife and I are documenting our journey out of debt, step by step, dollar by dollar.
We are sharing stories about how we got into this mess, tips about how we are earning extra income to help pay it down, and the struggles that we are going through day-to-day on this journey.
I think this site is awesome, and giving folks a platform as they attempt to build their blogs is wonderful.
Good luck to everyone!
J.M.
