Hi Everyone,

On the 2 month anniversary of my blog's existence, I'm joining the Yakezie challenge. I'm Kraig. I'm 27 years old, single, a young professional in the internet marketing industry and I live in Minnesota. I grew up as a big spender and not until a couple of years ago, did I wake up. Well, I really woke up. I'm a personal finance geek today and I am so passionate that I had to start a blog. I was inspired by what was going on online in this niche and I'm excited to go forward from here. I want to do great things.

I'd love it if you all could get a chance to check out my blog, Young, Cheap Living at http://www.youngcheapliving.com. I look forward to meeting all of you and getting to know you! Also, if you have tips and/or advice on getting started as a member of the Yakezie challenge, I'd love to talk.

Thanks,

Kraig

Hello Yakezie!

I am here to announce I am happily joining the Yakezie Challenge! My name is Mark D. Cook and I am a professional trader from Ohio. I have been in the finance business for over 30 years, but I'm relatively new to blogging. Any tips would be more than appreciated! I am excited to met some new people in the finance realm. What initially attracted me to this site were the words "Selflessly Helping Others." At the time, I had no idea it was for a finance blog network until I clicked on. I have been searching for new ways to help others, so this works out great! I''ve learned over the years helping others and giving brings more happiness than any amount of money can.

Check out my blog (Alexa rank 2,370,314): Pathway to Trading http://blog.markdcook.com

Feel free to let me know how I can help out!

Warm regards,

Mark D. Cook

I've been wavering back and forth on joining the challenge for a while now. There have been a lot of issues in my life that have been racheting up the fear factor. But at the end of the day, I've decided if the worst that can happen is failing to meet the goals of the challenge, then I'm already failing by not joining the challenge.

So my name is Edward, I'm 30, married and living in Northern Colorado, which is like a drier version of the Southern New Jersey of my childhood. I'm currently working as a road construction flagger and trying to break into the geotechnical industry. I've been blogging off and on for two years. I started out writing about entry level job searching but have now expanded into talking about blogging and personal finance as well. http://edwardantrobus.co.cc

My alexa rank is 1,721,224 and 156,636 in the US.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

Welcome to the challenge.  You have a great Alex ranking already.  You'll see it drop in just days.

@Thad, Thanks. My $3k Challenge was picked up by The Consumerist last month, and I'm sure that caused a big jump in my ranking.

Very cool Mark!  If you don't mind me asking, how do you forecast your futures?  Is it a more technical or fundamental approach, and what kind of models/algorithms do you employ (obviously from a high level / non-proprietary)?

I always enjoy hearing fellow investors' approaches! :D

More technical. The majority of the time I use my personal indicator, the Cook Cumulative Tick (CCT) that I developed.

Hi everyone! I would just like to say that as of today I have joined the challenge! I just recently started my personal finance blog, which is all about my goal of trying to graduate college with a surplus instead of a debt, but I am hoping that it really takes off. My current Alexa rank is over 13,000,000, so I obviously have a long ways to go, but I just started out in this, so I think its definitely possible! Check out my blog at http://www.jamespetzke.com.

Thank you all!
