I post every M-W-F on MoneyCrush, and every M-Th on The Debt Myth.  I post once, sometimes twice a month on my other sites.

When I first started blogging, I posted every single day without fail, because one part of my goal in blogging was to get in the habit of writing daily. I did that for years.

I continued to post daily when I started MoneyCrush, then moved to 5 days a week, and finally to three days a week when I started the Debt Myth.  I made the switch due to time constraints. I have this rule that I shouldn't start a new project without either finishing or cutting back on the time I spent on another one, so something had to go.  But, I quickly discovered that my traffic increased when I posted less. Not sure if that was coincidence or not, but posting less hasn't hurt anything for me.  I do maintain the consistent schedule though. I get frustrated with blogs that post randomly, since I usually read blogs by going to their site. I hate having to check randomly. I know I could use a reader, but that just feels overwhelming to me so I avoid it where possible.

I post three per week (and one staff writer post at My Dollar Plan). I work full time and want some sort of life and if I attempt to post more I think it would dilute my quality. Also, I typically spend a long time on my posts with research and such.

95% of the time I post M-W-F.  Of course, life happens so sometimes my I miss one of these. Day job is more important right now.

About every other weekend, I post a roundup primarily to link back to carnivals and share PF giveaways.  If I post on Tuesdays/Thursdays, it is brief informational posts or sponsored posts.

I try for S Night/M Morn (roundup)/T Night/Th Night with the more math-heavy stuff Thursdays, and the lighter fare Tuesdays.

How deep is everyone's queue?  I'm 6 deep, which should cover me for two weeks as long as I hit the roundups.  My cowriter doesn't have any drafts saved.

I have about 20 drafts started but none finished at the moment. I've learned that when I try to post ahead of time, something else comes up that I'd rather write about and the draft sits forever. For me, it works better to just go with the flow.

I'm in the same boat Andrea.  I have a spiral notebook where I have made outlines and started making notes for a bunch of articles.  Then I have at least 15 in my WP draft folder and a few on my phone in Evernote.  I'd love to be able to just sit and knock out a few of them to have a cushion in case I want to step away for a little bit without leaving a gap or losing the momentum.

I post M-F and this includes 2 staff posts and the odd guest post. Seems to work well for me.

I post Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I won't ever miss this (unless I am physically unable to get to the computer). I stay about 3 weeks ahead to help me maintain this schedule.

Now I am starting to post on Sunday as well, if I need to link back to carnivals and haven't covered this on my Saturday post. I agree that the day in between posts helps give your readers the opportunity to read the latest.

I think I have done about 5-6 guest posts since I started at Yakezie. I hope to do more starting in the new year (and maybe 1 or 2 before then).

I post 3 times per week on my site because when I joined Yakezie it stated I had to post 3 times/week. I also try to guest post one time or so per week!
