Got everything signed up and my starting point on Alexa is 1,614,245.  Getting down to 200,000 isn't going to be easy but if it was, then everybody would be doing it!  I look forward to seeing how things progress over the next 6 months.

I wanted to quick pop in and give an update.  As of today, I am down to 349,816 for my Alexa rank.  I'm excited to see how much progress has been made in such a short amount of time.  With that said I'm sure my progress will slow down a bit between now and my march to 200k.  I will not be denied though.

I haven't started any linkbuilding or outreach yet, so the site isn't really appearing in the search engines, (but I have been doing well with Linkedin). What I have been doing is pouring all of my time into getting the site to look good, getting all the features online and adding articles (16 so far) covering the following topics: saving money, debt help, credit cards, credit reports, insurance. I found out about Yakezie by looking for other finance blogs that I could guest post on, or that would like to promote any of my articles. I haven't started contacting any on my list yet, I'm just trying to build it up first — but Yakezie looks like a very beneficial group to be a part of, so here I am.

Today I broke the 200k barrier and am proud to have an Alexa rank of 199,221

I had an Alexa rank of 18,500,000 at the beginning of September

A rank of 3,500,000 when I accepted the challenge on the 9th September

My challenge now is to try to break the 100k barrier.

I cant imagine that will be easy
