Hi Everyone,
My name is Todd and I'm a travel and lifestyle blogger at Todd's Wanderings. I joined the alexa challenge on October 29th, 2010 with an Alexa score of 134,020. After a week of really just doing what I normally do it's down to 128,000. I'm hoping to have it in the 60,000s by the end of the 6 months. But the lower you go the slower things change!
In someways I'm already living my ideal lifestyle as I've been working my way around the world for the past 10 years. I'm a conflict resolution and human rights person so I get paid to travel and live abroad, which helps reduce cost for my travel writing. But I'd like to rely less on employers for my earning and more on myself to free up my time and have the ability to decide what projects I want to help out with.
Goals: shift from full time to consulting (in my conflict resolution work); monetize my blog to a livable wage; become a published author (I'm writing a book a the moment); and establish another internet based company (I have a fledging gem business exporting business going with some friends). Have time to help others.
As you can see, I'm not asking for too much 
I just want to thank Sam for putting this all together and for the great community that's being formed. Alexa was a nice bench mark when started counting earlier this year, so its great to keep it going. I also have another challenge about to start on my own site to prove (I hope) it is possible to earn money from blogging. But more about that later.

My current Alexa rank is 462,815. I would like to break 100,000. And at least double my traffic in the next 3 months. I joined today, November 11, 2010.
I do programming, and am developing Automated Trading software to help people succeed at investing. I live in Los Angeles.

Hi. My name is Melissa and I joined the challenge on 11/3 with an Alexa rank of 906,208. (Yikes!) In the 5 days since, my Alexa rank has dropped to 691,928. I am hoping to break the 200,000 mark within my 6 month challenge period.
I blog at Mom's Plans about learning to live a fulfilling life on less so I can be a stay at home mom to my three kids. I also do a fair amount of blogging about food–freezer cooking, cooking in general, etc.
I am happy to have discovered this group!
