Hi all!  I just joined the Yakezie challenge today!  I've been reading many of the blogs represented here for some time, but only stumbled upon this community about 2 weeks ago.

I write for my blog The College Investor, which I have had for a little over a year.  I started it as a hobby, and I have been doing it more and more, and really enjoy writing for mine and reading other people's posts as well.

I look forward to contributing to the community!

Congrats and welcome! I also started blogging as a hobby and this hobby took me to Yakezie. Wink

Hi guys!  Just wanted to give an update.  I've been doing the challenge for about a month now and my ranking has gone from 1.5 million to 504K. Yay!  Every day it goes down more and more…

It's so frustrating starting a new site!  At my old blog, my page rank was 4 and at my new URL my page rank is still at 0 after 1.5 months of consistent blogging there.  Is that normal?  My advertising requests have gone WAY down after the switch!

I'm trying to branch out and read new Yakezie blogs.  I'm an accountant and we just finished up fiscal close at work so it's been really busy!  Hopefully I'll have more free time to get out and find some new blogs!

Amber :)

Hey Amber, that's some great progress! As far as the page rank goes; from what I understand Google doesn't update this number that often (at least they don't publicize it), and the last update happened in April. So, most of us are waiting for it to improve with the next update.

I'm off to read your lending tree article now.

I commented on your article, but I think it went into the spam folder. That was a very challenging post!

Thank you both for heading over to the LT blog to check out my article!  I think they only approve comments during the weekdays, so it might take a couple days for it to show up.  Thanks again for the support! :)

Will have to check out both your blogs soon! :)

Hey all, was hoping someone could give me a little clarification here (since I can't find any hard contact info). I saw another blog that I'm subscribed to join the challenge several days ago, but I also saw that day that the challenge was closed for this session, on that very day! However, looking again, I can't find where I saw that, and I would indeed like to enter the challenge. Confirm/deny from someone who oughta know?

Thanks

Hi everyone!

I joined the Yakezie Challenge today! Check out the post on http://www.faithandfinance.org…..lenge-zie/

I'm a newbie in the financial blog world, but I've been having a blast building Faith and Finance. We have a ranking of 6,818,564.  Yep 6 million.  But the site's only been live for a month and we're moving along!

Faith and Finance is a Christian financial help blog designed to help individuals, businesses, and churches.  We want to address financial issues that matter to these groups and present solutions and tips with a Biblical perspective.

I'm excited to get involved with the community at Yakezie and think it's a great idea!
