How do y'all remember when you joined?

Hi, Money Funk here. I joined the Yakezie with a 425,121 and at the end of the challenge was at approximately 86,000. Then I had to reevaluate my personal life for personal reasons and fell to now a 152,452 due to lack of being around. But I know what it takes to get it back up. So mid September… I am planning to vamp the writing back up to raise that number. A lot of good opportunities come your way with a nice Alexa score.

Goals… I have a few in mind, but some are still in the works. I am going to re-increase the Alexa numbers on Money Funk, finish setting up my healthy living blog and online store. My hopes are to kick it to working full-time from home. And the opportunities are prospering. Its just making sure I take the right ones, have a plan to increase the possibilities, and continue forward.

Gook luck on increasing your numbers.  I just put my blog on its on domain… and now my numbers really are not that great.  But I know with time and blogging they will improve.

Aloysa – Don't forget to change your site link in your Yakezie profile and your Twitter page. They both still point to the old site.

Hi Everyone!

I just started the Yakezie Challenge over the weekend. I am really excited to get to the next level! I have been blogging for 6 months now and my blog is about personal finance with more focus on dividend investing. I currently rank at 618,461.

My web site is http://www.thepassiveincomeearner.com and my target is to make it under 200,000 on the Alexa Ranking.

Have a nice day!

Greetings,

I started the Challenge on October 9th and my current Alexa Ranking is 207,866 which is close, but I am working on Social Media and content ideas to strengthen that number more.

I have been a member since August, as well.

My site is http://canajunfinances.com  which I moved over from blogspot 5 years ago, and glad I did it, but it hurt like heck when I did it (I still have to old domain on blogspot but it just aims folks to my real site).

I have been writing for about 6 years now, keep learning about things, and still having fun so that is all I really want.

I am known as the Big Cajun Man, but if you look close enough on the web site you'll see what my real name is, and I live in Ottawa, Ontario

Twitter I am bigcajunman too!

@Big Cajun Man, you've had your site for more than 6 years?  Wow.  I really hope I love blogging as much as I do now in 5 years…

Here is a newbie type question, does the #YAKEZIE tag in Twitter do anything?

Is there anything I should be doing to my current posts for the challenge? Yes, I should read closer, my wife tells me the same thing, what was her name again?

Added Passive Income Earner and Big Cajun Man (we've already connected)! Welcome to the challenge!

@ C8j – I have a column in Hootsuite set up to search for the #Yakezie hashtag. So, I am able to view all tweets with that tag in one place. Unfortunately, I really don't have time to be on Twitter, so the best way to reach me if you need a RT or other type of promotion is to send me a DM. I'll get an email and then sign on to help you out!

Hello fellow challenge members!

I joined the Yakezie Network on June 13, 2010.  At the time, my Alexa ranking was an embarrassing 21,935,709.  Today, it's a "not quite as embarrassing" 541,131.  I'm making some progress, and enjoying the things that I'm reading and learning from the other members here.

At "Musings of a Financial Professional,"  I mainly blog about my thoughts about finance and success.  I speak with people every day regarding their risk management planning as well as their investments/retirement planning, and I feel like there needs to be much more information out there about personal finance for the general public.

That's what I enjoy about the Yakezie Network-I really feel like we're out here to do some good, not just to make a few bucks.

I look forward to getting to know all of you better!

Thats a fantastic effort! I have just started the challenge and am currently at 16 million! If I could get below 1 million I think I would be doing pretty good. Laugh

Hello!

I have taken up the Challenge. After blogging on and off for a number of years on personal finance subjects, including my own journey, I have gotten a bit more serious about it and moved to a proper site (http://www.uhw.com.au). My current rank is a slightly embarrassing 16.6million Embarassed but I am sure that with a bit of effort I can get that down below 1 million soon.

I am Australian and also a Chartered Accountant and have been tracking and monitoring my families personal finance for well over 15 years now.

I'm glad to be here and hope to get to know a lot more of you a lot better real soon.

Thanks
