Cool! I’ve seen Steve’s blog before and I think it’s awesome his wife was able to replicate her income that quickly. They must have learned so much in that time frame. I put a reminder to in my calendar to watch the telecast tonight. I like live q & a interaction.
I’m also a fan of Steve’s blog and have actually seen their product in magazines. :) It’s a very, very specialized product line but they’re pretty focused and it’s working for them. I’ll be on the telecast.

Very intereresting! The main ingredient needed for success is time and persistence! Blogging can be a low-paying effort given the hours involved but gotta consider that the reward is more than just monetary, and there’s ways to diversify such as with this online store idea.
Time and persistence indeed. I’m excited to give I a try and see if I can do it. Ideally, there will be like 5-10 of us who support and compete with each other to succeed. I wouldnt mind earning an extra $50,000-$100,000 a year in income during retirement. Everything helps and I know that if I stick to something long enough, good things will happen.
It’s on my calendar! Now I just need to figure out what to sell…

I think what I love so much about the internet is that you have to invest very little money to start a business on it (be it blogging, an online store, or whatever else). Because it is time consuming, but not money consuming, it literally means that anyone can do it!
since you have tried it Sam, can you tell whether it involves inventory management? or is it a lead/referral model?
The telecast was really neat. I’d never heard about drop shipping as an option for online stores before and I love the Chou’s story. I think it’s awesome they created such a successful business all on their own.
Sounds like an interesting concept, Sam. I’m sorry I missed the telecast (busy correcting lab reports). Is there a place to catch a recording of it? (Only in the $299 package, perhaps?) I’ll have to look at this closer during Spring Break; it sounds a lot more profitable than hitting Cancun.
I have never given thought to starting an online store. It seems like a good idea.
