I've been part of the Yakezie for about 10 days now. When I started, my Alexa rank was 4.9 million. It has already improved dramatically and is currently sitting at 2 million. I hope to get down to the 200,000 in the next 2 months – so by the end of February. Since I post every day, I'm hoping to get there sooner than most. So far I'm loving the Yakezie!

Hey everybody, my name is Chris Butterworth (Dealerity.com) and I joined the Yakezie Challenge on December 5, 2010 with an Alexa rank of 2,402,110. 

I started Dealerity in August 2010 and blog about ''deals to bring you prosperity'' and my finances and financial goals.  I'm a 26 year old guy that is jonesing for a location independent lifestyle and this blog is my first step towards honoring those goals. It's been a fun adventure so far! I was the kid reading Money Magazine when I was 10 and trading stocks since I was seven (with mom's help), so I guess I was destined to be a pf blogger.  

I'm really excited by the community that I see springing up here on Yakezie. To be totally honest I think I remember being confused about what this was all about.  I'm glad I stuck around long enough to find out. As I'm digging into the forums, I am totally kicking myself for not having joined sooner.  It seems like such a stellar resource for the personal finance blogging community.  Excited to engage with you all!

Update on my Yakezie Challenge:  I joined in early October of this year and my ALEXA ranking was 6,200,000.  As of today I am below one million at 945,000!!  Thanks to all for your help and support.  I am on my way to 500,000 in the next month or two!

Hey everybody, I'm joining the Challenge. I blog at http://www.thefinancialstudent.com. I started last December – loved blogging at first and then I kind of lost interest this fall, writing boring posts and not really caring. I've become a lot more motivated in the past few weeks though and I'm looking to take my blog to the next level (or maybe a few levels!) in 2011.

My Alexa ranking is currently 3,475,299, although at one time it was significantly lower.
